BLAKE MORRIS

Somewhat of a late bloomer, Morris burst onto the scene by taking out his state’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, and All Australian honours in last year’s Under 16 National Championships. The medium-sized defender played above his height across the carnival, able to utilise his sizeable leap and intercept marking prowess to dominate the airways down back. The 17-year-old is still quite light-on and remains a raw prospect, but has terrific upside which will become increasingly evident should he gain an extended run on the field. With a half-dozen WAFL Colts games under his belt in 2020, Morris has been invited to this year’s National Combine in a nod to his potential.
