Tall Peel Thunder utility Luke Polson has some handy athletic traits for a player of his size, able to work up the ground from the forward line with marks on the lead and follow-up work at ground level. He can also pinch-hit in the ruck and was trialled down back at times - especially with the state Under 19 squad - showcasing great versatility as a key position outlet.

His Colts form this year proved enough to earn a one-game League berth with Peel and at 194cm, Polson is not afraid to move with ball in hand. While confident enough to do so, finding his limits will be a step in development for Polson, along with finding a touch more consistency to even out his peaks and troughs.
