SUMMARY: Josh Smithson is a speedy player who has primarily played off half-back but can run through the middle. He has fantastic footy smarts and ability to read the play, as well as top speed and great agility. He does struggle to find the ball at times, averaging just eight disposals for South Australia at the National Under 18 Championships, while his endurance could certainly improve after a 20.4 result on the yo-yo test at the State Combine. There is plenty to like about Smithson and he has good upside as well.
