STRENGTHS: Goal sense, goalkicking, tackling, footy IQ
IMPROVEMENTS: Endurance, speed
SUMMARY: Gasper enjoyed an outstanding year in the TAC Cup, finishing as the equal-leading goalkicker with 42 in a ridiculously talented Oakleigh forward line. The small forward’s goal sense and smarts inside 50 set him apart this season, positioning himself well and using his surprising strength to break into dangerous areas in front of goal. Gasper isn’t as zippy as you would expect a small forward to be, registering 3.15 seconds in the 20m sprint and a respectable 8.68 in the agility test. Like most in his position though, his endurance is also something to work on in time, and will lend to even more goal opportunities. Despite those stats, Gasper always manages to find the goals and has shown a good work rate in terms of defensive pressure, with over four tackles per his 16 TAC Cup games. As a natural forward, Gasper is as good as they come and despite leading goalkickers missing out on draft selection in recent years, would be a handy pick-up for sides in desperate need of goals.
