Indicative Draft Order: State of play ahead of trade period

WITH the 2021 AFL Premiership season run and done, attention will now turn to trade period ahead of November’s draft. Last week’s grand final saw the final two clubs confirm the indicative draft order ahead of said period, with plenty of picks set to swap hands as clubs look to make moves ahead of what should be quite a strong intake. Last month, we put together a very early phantom draft after the top 10 picks were locked in, but much of that will change as significant player and pick trades go down. The top four prospects are clear-cut, as are arguably the next five to 10 talents, but a very even crop across the second and third rounds should provide great value for those selecting further down the order. Below is the current state of play ahead of trade period, as well as all the key dates to log in your diary over the next month.
