Player of the Week: TAC Cup – Round 7

IT was a round of big bags, making it tough for us to pick our AFL Draft Central TAC Cup Player of the Week for Round 7, but we went with Eastern Ranges’ Jamieson Rossiter who booted six goals in a winning side. The bottom-age talent marginally shaded Dandenong’s Corey Ellison for the nomination this week, while Murray Bushrangers’ Hudson Garoni (seven goals) has already received a nomination.

Rossiter had 14 disposals (57 per cent efficiency), as well as seven marks (four contested), two inside 50s and six goals, one behind from seven shots. He proved to be a key player for the Ranges throughout the game taking plenty of big contested marks and out-bodying his opponents multiple times to gain prime position in the forward line. Rossiter worked hard to win the footy and stood up in the difficult wet conditions. Rossiter’s nomination makes it two nominations for the Ranges this season after Joel Burleigh‘s nomination in Round 5.

AFL Draft Central’s TAC Cup Player of the Week:

Round Two: Max King (Sandringham Dragons)
