AFL Draft Central launches for 2018

AFL Draft Central is excited to announce the launch of its 2018 coverage this week in what shapes to be an unbelievable draft year. In 2018, the AFL Draft Central team will provide around-the-clock coverage of not only the TAC Cup and TAC Cup Girls, while also focusing efforts across the entire country.

As the leader in AFL draft coverage, AFL Draft Central is going to go to another level in 2018, looking at the development pathways through the state leagues and a ramped up coverage of women’s football across Australia. With writers located in every state, AFL Draft Central will look to provide your favourite draft content from the far west to the far north and down to the Apple Isle.

The team is excited to bring up-to-date news, features and draft coverage on both the men’s and women’s games in what is touted to be a “Super Draft” similar to that of the 2001 draft crop. We will be launching this week to cover the AFLW, with the particular focus on those former under 18s players who have made the transition into the elite game.

While the preparations for the upcoming season are well and truly underway at AFL Draft Central, the team is always looking for more passionate writers who would love to volunteer their time. Whether it be attending games and scouting the next crop of AFL and AFLW superstars, or writing in-depth features or news pieces, there are plenty of possibilities available at AFL Draft Central.

If you are a passionate writer who loves Australian Rules football, in particular its under 18s and development pathways, drop us a line at afldraftcentral@outlook.com or a message through our social channels on Facebook at AFL Draft Central, or our Twitter @afldraftcentral.
